mypaycommission.com is independent. It is not run, endorsed or approved by the Government of India, any ministry or department, or the 8th Central Pay Commission. It does not use the State Emblem of India or any Government logo.

What it does

It estimates what central government pay could look like under the 8th Pay Commission. You pick a Level and a basic pay, and the calculator shows today’s salary and a projected salary at a fitment factor you choose, with DA, HRA, transport allowance, deductions, arrears and pension.

It also explains the numbers: the fitment factor, DA history and the status of the Commission.

How the facts are checked

Every rate, date and amount lives in a data file with its source and the date it was last verified. We read the Gazette rules, Department of Expenditure orders, PIB releases and Lok Sabha replies, and link to them.

Where only a secondary source exists, the entry is marked. Where we assume something, an assumption tag links to the methodology page. The last-checked date appears in every page footer.
